It all started in 2016...

With humble beginnings in a small kitchen at 2:00 a.m., Ellora was created by Minde Singh, a dedicated researcher, registered nurse, and sufferer of dyshidrotic eczema.

Dyshidrotic eczema, also known as pompholyx, is a form of eczema that causes small fluid filled blisters on the soles of feet and on the hands. A few blisters, no big deal right? Minde quickly learned how big of a deal this condition truly is. Soon enough, Minde’s hands were engulfed in small, insanely itchy, fluid filled blisters. She would pop them to no avail. They would return with a vengeance and cause her skin to become unbearably dry and hard.

Minde attempted to alleviate the pain and dryness by moisturizing with a variety of different creams but nothing seemed to help. Thousands of dollars later, a mentally exhausted, desperate, blistery handed, twenty something year old Minde took matters into her own hands. She began experimenting with all-natural DIY concoctions day and night. After countless hours, Ellora’s first product, the soothing skin balm was born. The balm was able to provide a protective barrier all while keeping Minde's hands deeply moisturized, which was one of the main contributors in healing the badly damaged skin.
